Review on Surface Connect Charging Compatible Laptop by Eddie Pollard

This is ONLY a cable. This purchase does not include a power adapter. I bought it when I forgot my Microsoft Surface 6 charger at a hotel after a business trip. I have an ANKER PowerPort Atom III that can provide the required power and current for the Surface Pro. It plugged into the Anker PowerPort's USB-C port and immediately started charging my laptop. The magnetic connection appears to be as strong as Microsoft's, but we'll see over time (cheaper cables tend to use cheaper quality magnets). It works well for now and costs less than $50 for a new Surface 6 charging cable.
