I've been reading about stainless steel in bottles and was only interested in food grade stainless steel marked 18/8, 18/10 or 304. This bottle is stamped 18/8 and was cheaper than the bottle sold at our local store which only says stainless steel. I've seen pistons from other golfers saying they're stainless steel, but they're pitted and almost rusty. I'm pretty sure that won't happen with this bottle. Another issue I had was the plastic hinge, which I didn't like. The bottle I bought has attractive pink packaging and looks classy. Very satisfied so far! Bobbo's wife
