That's what I was hoping for. Wasn't disappointed. I haven't tested it, but they're obviously way better than my procedural masks I've used. A little extra work to breathe, and you have to be careful not to strain yourself. Difficulty breathing will likely seep through the edges. If you need one closer to absolute sealing and are going to have trouble breathing, the K95 might be better for you. For me it is convenient and enough. I'm not saying they meet any certifications, of course, but it's definitely noticeable that the airflow through these layers is more restricted compared to other masks. I'm pretty sure it's layers and hole size. (micron size) BTW I have a big head in size 8 and they fit a bit tight but not uncomfortable. I'm actually glad about that. The mask has a built in nose tilt to make it comfortable. The nose wire is bent for packaging. Try to flatten it well before shaping it to your nose and it will fit better and be more comfortable. Tomorrow I will be among people and I don't think I will transmit anything with this mask and will use social distancing as a safe practice. I am vaccinated but I know I can still get the virus which may not show any bad symptoms so be careful. Please don't forget your mask until we have the check. We can still spread it with a vaccine. I hope all of our families are safe.
