I've been using dual layer DVD+Rs for over a decade. Several thousand of them were burned. I bought them simply because of the "why not?" attitude. So far I have bought 7 packs of 50 spindles and have only had one bad drive. In comparison, I bought a set of 100 Philips DVD+R DL spindles and had 12 failures out of 100. A failure rate of 1 in 350 is actually very good. I will buy more of these if the price is right.
