ValueDisk is working on a good product again

A few months ago I put ValueDisk on my don't buy list because I got 15 coasters out of 50 in the last batch. A few weeks ago, I accidentally ordered a 50-slice cake. So far from 30 discs only one stand. So looks good for value for money at this point.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

All of the 16 discs have burned flawlessly so far.

All my discs have burned flawlessly so far. This is the first time this has happened to all brands of DL discs I've tried. I hope this continues. I couldn't be happier with them right now. I've just ordered another pack of this brand as the other brand I tried couldn't burn all but the two discs I tested, wasting almost a third of that pack.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Damaged

Terrible discs in blanks

Worked for me on 10 discs out of 50, kept writing errors! Terrible wheels, don't waste your money looking for a bargain. I have been trying to make football dvds for kids trying to save money as it is from my pocket. I had to switch to original discs and record the same video, with the same program and recording device, not a single mistake! Very upset with this purchase.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Only available in black

Definitely a good deal.

I've been using dual layer DVD+Rs for over a decade. Several thousand of them were burned. I bought them simply because of the "why not?" attitude. So far I have bought 7 packs of 50 spindles and have only had one bad drive. In comparison, I bought a set of 100 Philips DVD+R DL spindles and had 12 failures out of 100. A failure rate of 1 in 350 is actually very good. I will buy more of these if the price is right.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Socket required

DO NOT BUY USELESS DISCS

First you need to format these DVDs in order to use them. Secondly, when copying a package with photos 7 times, the process was interrupted in the middle because the DVD was damaged, and twice this happened very close to the end, ie already 1/5 of the disk is unusable, which is for those who keep something for a long time want to keep time is not acceptable as it IS INTENDED. Imagine you lost family photos, videos or documents from work. So save time and money and just buy another brand.

Pros
  • Best-in-Niche
Cons
  • Legacy

Double Sided Hard To Access Blank DVDs

Like most of my friends, I still have a DVD/BluRay player and make my own videos. If you want to take 2+ hours of full SD video and burn it to DVD, you need a dual layer. They meet the requirements and are inexpensive. The bit error rate is slightly above average, but DVDs are made to be error-tolerant. So it didn't cause any problems for me. (Key on, it's a bit below top speed to reduce typos.) Overall, this is a good deal and you should take advantage of it as soon as possible.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Bad disks. Lots of writing and reading errors. UPDATE

UPDATE So I decided to just keep using it and in the end I found it was just very successful. Some of these work perfectly. At least the first 6 had issues, but now it's just hit and miss. Now I'm more prone to some quality control issues. I'm giving one star because some of them work. I've burned these discs multiple times and they were riddled with errors and problems writing to the disc. I'm not sure if I bought a bad package or what. The actual spindle was also destroyed. I have tried Nero…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I really don't like anything about it, everything is fine
