I have thick, shoulder-length, permed hair. I love that using this towel to wrap my hair after shampooing minimizes the need for blow drying. Now I can style my hair and dry it sufficiently in about five minutes. The longer you leave your hair curly, the more it dries out. I like the button that secures the towel. I think the towel might be a bit small for those with long hair, although the "tail" you twist and tuck in doesn't seem to extend more than 18 inches under my head when I'm leaning forward, like that that longer hair must be folded and hidden.
