I gave two stars for a number of reasons, the product sounded fantastic and got good reviews so I bought it. The battery operated LED candle with remote control and timer was exactly what I wanted. However, the delivery was delayed by a day, which isn't that big of an issue, but added to the overall temper of the product. I opened the box and took out the candles, regular plastic as I expected but the bulbs that screw onto the candle felt very cheap to me. The candles also just snap into the base which feels fragile and you have to turn them on with a small switch that looks like it could break very easily. I put in two AA batteries, pressed the button on the remote and nothing. Then I took a candle and the light went on. Very faint, very yellow glow. I slightly moved the candle and it started to flicker and go out, which set off an alarm that the connection points are not very strong, the slightest press turns it off or flickers and resets functionality (timer, candle effect, etc.). Does it glow? Yes, but the glow is very faint. Increasing the brightness does little to the candle either. Does the remote control work? Yes, but you have to press the button multiple times to turn off the flickering, and sometimes it would turn off completely and turn back on after a few seconds. In summary, I am returning this item and would like to invest in something more reliable, e.g. B. might be sold in HD. Overall the product felt cheap, looked good but didn't work very well, and from the outside it was almost unnoticeable. I was hoping to find a good replacement for C7 candles when running a 2 year old on battery power and this seemed to fit well, but I have bought much cheaper LED products with better lighting capabilities. These little white LED tea lights work better than these candles. Disappointed but luckily I have enough time to find better value elsewhere.
