Review on 🐠 Seachem Marine Buffer Liquid 500ml by Sarah Black

Perfect Salt Water Buffer

I currently have a 93 gallon offshore rig. I use this product for my Eclipse System 12 quarantine tank. For those who don't know, the quarantine tank does not contain any substrate or sand at the bottom of the tank or live rock to maintain the natural pH. . This is because the drugs may remain in the sand or stone. I also use RO/DI (purified water) water, which has an even lower pH than regular tap water. So I needed something to raise the pH. and bring it within reach. This product does the job perfectly. It will not raise the pH above 8.3 even in the event of an accidental overdose. After adding the required amount once a day, it took only 3 days to reach and stay at 8.3. The instructions say it can take up to a week, but I doubt it ever will be that long. This is a great product when you need fish pH in a marine system without natural buffers.

Pros
  • HOW TO USE: Use the Seachem MultiTest Marine pH & Alkalinity to test pH and Total Alkalinity. Use Marine Trace to restore proper trace levels and feed NutriDiet Marine Flakes for healthy marine fish.
