I recently purchased some new battery cables. Both the positive and negative were colored black. I used some of this heat shrink to color one end of the positive cable red. It easily molded to the oddball shape with a nice tight fit. I was able to cut out the holes for the bolts afterwards with an exacto knife.Overall, the heat shrink was thicker than I expected. Good for more than just covering wires. The only negative is that it’s hard to store as a folded tube. The tube sticks to itself where the folds are. It came folded in a tight plastic bag and took some time to break the folds free where it had glued itself together.Still highly recommended.
