Excellent water boots. They feel very durable and comfortable compared to old water boots. Nice thick sole to protect you from rocks but not enough support to recommend walking in them or anything! They are great for kayaking and other types of boating where you may need to get your feet wet. The drawstring at the back allows them to be tightened to keep them from slipping off in the mud, but I wouldn't recommend swimming in them for long distances. Good for walking around the lake. I am a 5ft 2" adult female and normally wear a women's size 5. However, over the years I have felt that shoes have gotten bigger and bigger and I have been forced to wear children's shoes. I tried a pair in "Big Baby 3" that were supposed to match the Women's 5 but they were way too big! I went back and bought "Little Kids 2" and they fit perfectly. So these shoes obviously run a bit big. I would go a size smaller than what you usually get, especially since you don't want them to slip off in the water. Great buy for the price.
