I ordered them in advance in preparation for when the summer weather warms up quickly. My son used them for a few hours over the weekend and the lining has already come out. Since they were wet, getting the "sole" of the bottle back into place was not easy. Invest in the best shoes if you want them to last through the summer.

I bought these for my daughter who was going on a week long canoe trip. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on Keene that she wouldn't wear again. I think you get what you pay for. They fell apart on the first day of their 4 day canoe trip. The insides came out and went back in and stayed in place leaving them uncomfortable with or without the insert. waste of money. If you need water shoes, spend a little more so your kid can actually wear them.

I bought them for my son but they were too big. I was confused by the sizing and it is a large child size 1 and not the next size down than a toddler size 13. It is very large for the size so I am holding it back hoping it will fit next year. The return will be more expensive than I paid for it, so it's not worth sending back.

My son and I have the same shoes! At first we were amazed at the comfort. After getting wet, the insoles slip. We took ours out. My grandson wore them 2 times in the garden and the insole fell out? Not worth $13 ocean, $7 lasted 2 years. Limited color options may not appeal to all kids.

Terrible shoes. The glue holding the insert seeps everywhere after the insert comes out and the thing used to tighten the shoe doesn't work at all. They kept coming off my daughter's leg.

The shoes do not fit. Instead of curving towards the foot, it fits like it could be worn on either foot. The insoles fell apart after the first wear. Now my daughter has to interrupt all of her swimming lessons to fix a shoe that's slipping over her ankle.

After a pair of socks, the insole began to sag, exposing the adhesive underneath. I tried putting the insole back in place, but after a few days they were just destroyed. Very disappointed and sent back. Now I have to hurry to find new ones!

I have just ordered a third pair of these water boots for my 7 year old son. Between summer camp and swimming lessons, he swims five days a week! They did a great job protecting his legs; We went through two pairs last summer and outgrew them before they wore out. He can swim in it and has never had any complaints. The only problem is that he has trouble putting them on and taking them off, especially when they are wet. This is probably common with all shoes of this type.

I ordered them for some of the kids who didn't bring water shoes to my daycare. This was the cheapest size 10 and seems to be the most popular size as it was very hard to find compared to literally every other size. The soles popped out, but they popped out again and didn't bother the kids enough to get them to wear shoes that could get calloused. Wore these shoes around 9 and wore them up to 3 2-3 days a week throughout the summer and apart from the sole they held up great.
