These shoes run very large. When the package arrived I could tell someone had tried them on and sent them back. When I put them on for my son they were great but I didn't want to buy new ones all summer so I kept them to myself. It was a big mistake. Even though my son grew two different pairs of shoes this summer, he never grew up wearing those shoes. His shoes would fall out every time he tried to swim in the water. So he could really only get in/out of the water. Not quite what I expected from their use. One of the great features is the shoe's ankle strap, which helps to stay on the foot.
