As others have pointed out, there are some fundamental problems with shoes. First, the size is not the same, too big. I first ordered them half a size bigger than my kid's shoes and they were too big. I then ordered them 1.5 sizes smaller than my child's normal shoe size and they were fine. Second, the insole is not bonded very well and one of the shoes came out on day one. Perhaps Shoe Goo is a viable solution to this problem. Third, there are no drainage holes on the sole and sides. So unless you turn them upside down or lay them out in the sun to dry, the water just stays on the sole of the shoe. Not only does this make the bad glue problem worse, but it also starts giving off a musty smell. Finally, due to bad insoles and lack of drainage holes, sand that gets into the shoes is difficult to remove because it gets trapped under the insole and cannot drain well. The rest of the shoes are fine; Rubber outsole and mesh material feel durable. The backstage locking mechanism seems good enough. I'm not throwing them away but I would suggest looking elsewhere for a better designed and manufactured product.
