I ordered this product to connect my new laptop to my existing desktop system. The product has exceeded my expectations, allowing me to continue using my 2K and 1080P monitor and some peripherals. The docking station is thinner and lighter than I expected and has more than enough ports to connect whatever I need. For the price, this is definitely one of the best docking stations in this form factor. My only complaint is that the cable is a bit short, almost too short to plug into my laptop's USB-C ports without twisting the dock itself under the laptop. For the record, I have a 15.6-inch Legion 7i laptop, so my laptop is slightly larger than most. Cable length shouldn't be an issue for most 15.6-inch laptops. But I wouldn't recommend it for 17 inch laptops. At least if you want to use it with a laptop.
