Review on Polk Audio Wide Dispersion Satellite Speakers by Courtney Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little satellites

When I got these speakers I was so eager to try them out that I simply turned off the receiver and connected each of these speakers individually with a length of spare #16 cable- 2 to the connectors on the right front panel and turn the receiver back on. I was so impressed with the first that I called my wife to hear about the second being tested. she liked it. We ended up dancing on the floor while I held the speaker in one hand. The sound was crisp and clear. I've never had triangular speakers with speakers on 2 out of 3 sides. It's amazing to hear the results you get with this arrangement. I heard Polk stopped making this type. WHY POLAND? If these speakers break in properly and are still as good a few months later, I would happily buy at least one more set. another new speaker, front and center, the Polk Audio CS20, which has so far turned the mediocre theater sound in my living room into a realm of the imagination. My receiver is ONKYO RC360. Maybe next year I'll replace the 1979 L&R Sears Professional Series front speakers with another Polk set.
