I have several pairs of Bruno Marc shoes and I like them all: they're cheap, they look great and they smell! It smells like some kind of industrial chemical or black tar. I've tried putting them outside and sealing them in a bag with charcoal, mothballs, and even coffee beans for a few days. None of this worked. Even after years, the smell has not gone away. I would like to know what is causing this or how to get rid of it. Also, the shoes are not breathable at all so expect your feet to get hot.
