Review on Air Lift 89289 LoadLifter 2014 2017 by Jonathan Partridge

Wanted to soften the back of my 2019 RAM 2500 Diesel. When combined with some aftermarket Monroe Reflex shocks, I noticed a definite improvement in ride quality. Much softer but not too soft for a 2500lb trailer. I'm not a mechanic, but the installation seemed easy enough to me. Took me a full day mainly because I work slowly. The key to a smooth ride is to only inflate to 5-8 pounds. I used about 8 pounds. I set it to 40 for a trailer ride and the ride was still too harsh. So the key is to adjust the amount of air for the desired ride. For now I'm happy with the softer ride and will wait a little longer before trying anything else. I love that I was able to soften the ride without changing the stock coil springs, which is very important from a functional standpoint.
