This air purifier does exactly what it says on the tin: removes mold, odors, smoke, allergens, germs, pet dander, etc. I have one in my bedroom and one in my living room. I have two cats and have noticed a dramatic change in air quality and a decrease in pet odor. I started sleeping better at night, I don't sneeze and feel congested like earlier in the morning. In low and sleep mode, the sound is quiet. The noise is a little noticeable at first, but now I only notice it when it's turned off before falling asleep. I find this subtle sound soothing because I can't and never could fall asleep in dead silence. Now I only hear anything when it's in automatic mode and there's air flowing through it that needs to be filtered. I highly recommend this air purifier. It does a fantastic job which is why I bought a second one.
