Feet in North Carolina. with a fully finished basement (1100 square feet) and had experience with a condo unit I purchased from Home Depot. I used my dehumidifier 24/7 for 5-6 years until it recently stopped working. Deciding to purchase as a more serious product, I chose this Waykar commercial dehumidifier after reading reviews/comparisons. to learn. I am a professional product designer and product quality + aesthetics are important to me as a dehumidifier is a common fixture in the home and for me in my finished living room in the basement. The device's material finish is nice, with a lightly textured satin powder coat finish on the steel plates, and the glossy black touchscreen UI is an improvement over my previous one. As this is an initial reaction, the unit has a well-crafted fan sound that is quality and more powerful than what I've heard in the past (not too loud for me and doesn't sound cheap). After running the device for 8 hours I had already removed 1/2 gallon of water. Therefore, in my first tests, this product works well. The air is becoming drier, rapidly approaching 33-35 relative humidity. So far I am happy with the device. The thing is heavy and durable!
