Good collars, good quality including the buckle. The floral pattern is beautiful. I'll update if it turns out to be garbage. As for the size, I read several reviews. I have a 40 lb dog and a 50 lb dog. Neither very large, I think I bought a size large or even extra large and easily adjusted them to fit both dogs. Not too chunky, the collar has become much smaller. Fully meets our requirements for collars for 2 medium and small dogs of different sizes. I would say a medium to large size would fit most medium sized dogs.
