The case has a great soft molded base to hold the Apple TV and remote firmly and the overall construction is solid and reliable after multiple trips with TSA in my bags dropped (I fly a few times a week) but there is one major downside that makes it almost unbearable to use: the top zip pocket. It's like a typical engineering project that thinks the design is perfect but never uses the end product. With a zipper right down the center of the flat cover and no seams, it's nearly impossible to route cables inside. Can you slide the power cord in? Sure, after some struggles, but good luck getting your Apple TV working without an HDMI cable. After that, forget about the cover for the remote control. The base is great, but the lid needs a major overhaul.
