Like most people in the world, I've been working from home for 1.5 years. In order to improve my internet speed, I spent a decent sum on equipment and consumables, since of course my work laptop is extremely limited in terms of ports. Can't complain because I didn't have to pay for it, but sometimes it bothers you when you use 2 monitors on top of a laptop. The demand for Wi-Fi is ridiculous, so even though I've increased my speed twice, I still have interference and often the VPN drops out on my work network. I bought it to avoid distractions, but my work laptop doesn't have an ethernet port and it actually works fine. I can connect other devices to the USB ports and have not been disconnected from my company's network since purchase. I recommend it.
