Mixed thoughts on girls Amy Byer piercing white/navy paisley jumpsuit size 12

I recently bought an Amy Byer Girls white/navy paisley onesie for my daughter and have mixed thoughts about it. Firstly, I really love the paisley pattern and the colors are great. The jumpsuit is also very comfortable and my daughter loves wearing it. However, I was disappointed with the fit of the overalls. Although my daughter is a size 12, the top was a little loose and the pants a little long. I had to make small adjustments on the sewing machine to get a better fit. Overall the jumpsuit is cute and comfy, but I wish the sizing was a bit more precise.
