I still haven't figured out how to put this together so I can actually use it!

Wanted to use this for my tablet but don't know how to assemble it. No matter how I adjust the headboard, the ball at the end immediately slips off. I really don't want to risk a $600 tablet on something that just doesn't fit together in a way that stays safe!
