I bought these for the front doors of my '97 Accord LX coupe. I replaced the stock speakers and head unit many years ago and installed Pioneer in-door speakers (6.5"). I had to cut out the plastic cup in the door mount covering the stock speaker magnet because the Pioneer speakers were too deep and the magnets were too big. Those Pyle speakers just wouldn't fit. The mounting holes were too far apart to match the holes in the bracket. The metal basket was too wide at the back to fit the hole. Due to the fact that the factory plastic bracket had 3 dedicated brackets for mounting screws, I couldn't just drill new mounting holes - not that they were going to be flush with the door anyway. The only way to get them to work was to make a custom plate instead of the factory one. Too many settings for a speaker that should fit in my car. I believe if you want to make custom mounts almost any speaker can "fit" in your car. Compared to the old Pioneer, the Pioneer's mounting holes are closer to the foam surround. These are the holes that match the Accord's mounting holes. All of the Pyle mounting holes are approximately the same spacing (radius), just in different locations. The metal frame of the basket on the back of the Pyle also protrudes further (radially) than that of the Pioneer, hitting the mounting bracket and preventing the speaker from sitting flush. Also on more modern Pioneer 6.5" speakers I see a difference in the mounting holes. 2 stars because the speakers came well packaged and in perfect condition with all hardware. The design proved good for a budget speaker.
