I've worn these pants to the water and to the feeding and fill paddling pools for my flock of ducks and geese. Big sizes are grossly underestimated and don't match the size chart at all. I bought a size larger than I normally wear so I can comfortably wear my streetwear underneath these pants while I work on my micro farm, but I can barely squeeze into them. They stretched a millimeter or two after a few hours, but there are so many other design flaws that they're not worth the money to me. For example, as mentioned in other reviews, velcro hooks are sewn on about half the circumference of the legs. This is a much bigger problem than I thought - my cat's long hair, my long hair and my socks got stuck in the velcro before I put them on. There are also a lot of threads hanging on the inner seams, which also get caught on the Velcro. These pants are designed for women with no hips, buttocks or stomach. If you're built like a big boy, they'll probably fit you; If you have a curvaceous figure or long waist, don't worry. I can't sit up in these pants - there isn't enough fabric in my hips to bend that far. The length of the crotch is conservative - unless intended to be worn as a hiphugger - otherwise these pants tend to gusset, or would if there was enough fabric on the seat to allow for that. They are also about four inches longer in inseam. than i expected. If I could cut off the excess length in the legs and sew it to the hips or crotch they would fit much better, but there is velcro to worry about. And now the good news. They are straight legs but very roomy straight legs so I could easily turn the bike in them - if I could sit on the bike. The fabric is *unusual*, but it's breathable and waterproof. The pants kept me very dry and moisture didn't build up from the inside out. The fabric is the best thing about these pants - it's not plush but does the job well. However, the flocked straw mat stuck to the pants like glue - I've tried cleaning and shaking out the pants, but I still can't remove the straw. I will say that I have not tried washing my pants yet - I did not want to spoil the washing machine. However since they were so cheap I can't give them one star so I'll give them two.
