I already have a 12 card SD card holder but I chose this card holder as it offers significantly more space. I regularly use around 24 cards and switch between cameras, so the one I used worked for me, but I needed more space. This one has a lot more room for 30+ cards, giving me the freedom to classify my cards however I want. Consider it necessary when reviewing chambers with a spare seat. It holds cards securely and is an extremely durable, weatherproof case overall. There's nothing cheap about that. The strap allows me to attach it to a belt loop when I put the case in my back pocket. It's larger than my other case but not too big to be bulky. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the foam was not attached or glued to the inside of the case. I personally would prefer it to be taped at the bottom so it doesn't come loose when opened. To do this, I cover the bottom with either silicone or gorilla glue. Extremely fast shipping and top notch customer service.
