FYI, "Medify Air MA-25 Air Purifier ($160) – This device is not AHAM [Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers] certified. The manufacturer specifies the CADR (particle size not specified) as 250 cubic meters per hour. However, when converted to the standard CADR unit of cubic feet per minute, the CADR is only 147 cubic feet per minute, meaning the recommended room size for use would be around 220 square feet. $50 and these filters need to be replaced every 2500 hours. So if the unit runs all day, the filters need to be replaced about 3-4 times a year, which costs about $175.” From Consumerlab.com's report on member-only access to air purifiers.
