Easy wiring for Harley models other than Street Glide with dashboard or fender extensions

I needed to fit this to a chrome fender extension (bezel) on a 2008 Road King Classic. Works fine but I had to open it to get the wiring secret. After soldering the wires, I sealed the connector with hot glue on both sides to keep moisture out. Simple wiring can be achieved with wires soldered to computer jumpers that you simply plug into the LED light's pins. Or, if you really like the pain, just buy a Harley 12 pin connector and plug it in. In any case, you do not need to open the case when using this wiring. When you want to open it, it's just held together with some sort of flexible black sealant that glues the lens to the body. I used a 1 inch spatula and slowly worked the lens. If you look at the light from the LEFT PORT side of the LED, the top 2 pins are working. The second set of pins on the bottom is the BRAKE. The bottom contact set is EARTHED. You can use either one pen or both. I used 2 feet of welded wire and threaded it through the fender's wire clips into the rear light hole on the left. I connected (connected) the GROUND wire of the LED to the GROUND WIRE of the BLACK taillight bulb. I connected the RUN LED wire to the BLUE RUN WIRE tail light bulb. I connected the LED brake wire to the RED-ORANGE BRAKE WIRE of the taillight lamp. This light is very bright when properly installed. In work mode, it's brighter than my stick donuts and taillight. When braking, it illuminates the road behind me and is clearly visible at any distance. Much cheaper than the stock 2009+ HD SG lights and cables. You can have 4 of these for the price of 1. The pictures should answer your wiring questions. Have fun!
