. I've been using the Raritan 4-port USB KVM Switch for years. During a particularly terrible thunderstorm, both he and the surge protector he was connected to died. I'm glad to see that this device can be a reasonable replacement. Computers connected to this switch are pre-HDMI and run various versions of Windows and Linux that I still support. With plenty of RAM and fast SSD drives, they are more than enough for the tasks they perform. Setting up the switch was easy and came with instructions to help. My monitor mounted Microsft LifeCam works with all connected computers, as does the audio output. I like the 4 computer switch options, the buttons on the block, keyboard, mouse and wired switch. You can't use all four at the same time, but that's not a problem. I've been using it for four days with no problems and I highly recommend it. If this changes at any point I will update this review.
