Review on HomRain Women'S Cap Sleeve A-Line Dress For Wedding Guest, Formal Events, Evening Parties, Church, And Prom by John Mceachern

Thick material good for me

This material is a lot thicker than I expected! It's also kinda a rough material. It does have some lining which helps it not be too rough against the skin.I am 225 lbs and 5 ft 5. I normally wear a 2X. I read the sizing chart and ordered a 3X and it does fit me well.It is a nice cut and I like this style of dress. I am taking away a star because it doesn't have any belt loops. The seam between the top and bottom is quite noticeable and needs a belt to hide it, but the belt keeps riding up and exposing the seam. The other reason I'm taking away that star is because the dress says it is hand wash only! I did wash it in the washing machine and hung it dry and it seems OK. But I really don't like things that say they are hand wash only. I am just never going to get around to washing things if I have to hand wash them.Overall the dress looks pretty nice, so I'll wear it. If it falls apart in the wash, oh well. It's not my favorite due to the belt issue, so it won't be to upsetting if it does fall apart in the wash.

Pros
  • ❀ Cocktail Tea Dress: Amainstay of the summer collections, this wedding guest dress might be a bona fide closet staple. You can dress these up with heels and a clutch to the formal & semi formal party or with flat sandals and a sun hat for a mid-afternoon stroll. This retro style don't look overly professional if you feel like taking one for work break, or as a casual dress option for the weekends too.
Cons
  • The dress is prone to tearing and snags easily
