Review on Stay Cozy and Protected with STORMR Typhoon Comfortable Micro Fleece Neoprene by Maurice Stavros

Update 28/01/2015 - Finally able to use them on ice for a longer period of time and I am very disappointed. After 20 minutes of use, my hands got wet. I called the Stormr and they told me they are not waterproof, they are for warmth. At its core, fishing gloves get wet. If you don't mind warmer, wetter hands, these will do. I will continue my search for a pair of warm waterproof gloves. *Original Rating* Haven't used them in extreme weather yet and will update my rating at the end of the season. Bought for ice fishing. I honestly don't have a big problem with cold hands and I often don't even wear gloves. There were a few times when it was very cold and I wanted something waterproof but still had good dexterity. For me there is nothing worse than removing my gloves before each task, which is why I often don't put them on. They have good fat dexterity and I feel like I can do most things with them. My issue with gloves is comfort. The seams are very uncomfortable. Also, there is some grippy material on the wrist of the glove, I think the gloves should learn. Apparently, the people who tested these gloves didn't have hair on their arms. They keep pulling my hair on my arms. It doesn't rip it out or hurt it, it just tugs at my hair which makes me uncomfortable. The fit is perfect for my size. I have small hands and there is a chart on the website based on the measurement from the longest finger to the base of the palm. At 7" I had to decide on a small or medium size and go down a size small for a comfortable fit. I think they are well made and worth their price but for most they will not replace thick insulated gloves for extreme cold .
