Fits well. Contoured and flexible

Good fit. Contoured and flexible. The seams look well sewn. Clay could have used a little more attention to detail. My left glove had a couple of seam stains that didn't close as well as the rest. I also need a glove liner as the inseam felt too rough for my skin. A person could find a better glove for the price. The pitfalls of online shopping are not having the item on hand to check. I could probably return the product but I will do so and find a better replacement in the future.

Seams came undone after 2 months

I use neoprene gloves at the hatchery for 2 months every winter. These gloves are thinner and easier to use than the Glacier gloves I've used in the past. Glaciers last 5-6 years until they become too slippery to grip objects. They're also 30% cheaper. Just installed the Stormrs at the beginning of the second winter (a week after the warranty ended) and found all the welds had come apart. problem between the fingers. There are holes between each finger of the right glove and two fingers of the…

I don't expect good results.

For me they were neither waterproof nor windproof, they didn't warm my hands. I bought them with the intention of using them for ice fishing here in Wisconsin. I tried them on and felt what I was looking for, but just putting water in the bird bath and putting something under my camper van, my hands got wet, I felt the wind and my hands burned from the cold. I haven't even tried them for ice fishing, I don't expect good results.

Great fishing glove for cool weather

I've pulled them out several times in 40-50 degree weather. They really helped keep my hands warm in both wet and dry conditions. I was amazed at how well it cast my spinning rods. They definitely added another ten degrees to my comfort zone when fishing. Grip is excellent and the Kevlar finger pad keeps the braided line from snagging on the gloves. In cold weather, I really appreciate the good grip of these gloves on the steering wheel of my boat. Great fishing glove!

Ideal for fishing and snow clearing!

I'm a big Stormr fan. I have her jacket and gloves. Gloves are perfect for east coasts because they are good for surfer fishing PLUS when it snows and you have to clean your car your hands stay dry and warm. These are well done. I still have the original pair from two years ago. I recently lost one and bought a second pair.

Pros
  • New to my collection

Update 28/01/2015 - Finally able to use them on ice for a longer period of time and I am very disappointed. After 20 minutes of use, my hands got wet. I called the Stormr and they told me they are not waterproof, they are for warmth. At its core, fishing gloves get wet. If you don't mind warmer, wetter hands, these will do. I will continue my search for a pair of warm waterproof gloves. *Original Rating* Haven't used them in extreme weather yet and will update my rating at the end of the…

Fall surf mitt with 40 degree sweet spot

Far better than nothing for north east surfing with a degree of skill. I would say 40 degrees is the sweet spot. Any colder and I've benefited somewhat from wearing these brown cotton gloves underneath. Kevlar reinforcement for the thumb and forefinger is normal, you can weave, but the hooks get caught in it. Basically satisfied.

  • Well built
