The top coat didn't last long

To be honest I love the colors and am giving one star because the top coat has turned into a hard gel. This set was really great, I used it before the holidays and my nails lasted a full 2 weeks before they started chipping. The top coat was very shiny and thick but it only worked for a manicure/pedicure as the next time I used it the top coat was rubbish. I was specifically looking for a base and top coat set and now have to buy from another company. Too bad it has become a waste of money.
