does NOT smell like rose. General. Smells like wax, doesn't it? And chemically? It is not a pleasant smell and nothing like a rose. This wax is different than what I'm used to. I used to use GiGi Wax without streaks, which is microwave safe. It took some getting used to. The texture of the wax is completely different and it's very, very sticky. Some wax got on my fingers. However, after trial and error, I learned how to twist a wooden spatula to keep the pan from dripping, drizzling, or pulling. I have to say I like it a lot better. It's slightly less painful than GiGi wax. It's much easier to clean. Residues on the skin can be easily removed with a little oil. Fiction! Will buy this brand again. I like it! BENEFITS: - Less pain - Once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier to clean - Residue is easier to remove - Works on all areas. I use it on my face (chin, neck, eyebrows, upper lip, etc.), crook of my arm, and lower abdomen.
