This is a well made very nice leather belt for men. If the company had more accurately reflected its size I would have given it 5 stars. I bought 3 belts in 3 different sizes for 3 different family members. Here is my review: The sizes of the belts purchased are 36, 38 and 42. Each belt was compared to a range of previously owned belts of each size and also measured with a tape measure. Size 36 was a standard size 36 and fit well. .Size 38 was 1.5 inches shorter than standard size 38. Size 42 was 1 inch shorter than standard size 42. I spent a lot of time determining the correct sizes for each person by checking their exact waist measurements, pant sizes, and sizes . of all straps you currently own, especially new straps versus old straps which can stretch over time. These belts run small. Overall these belts are very good. As I said, these are Italian leather belts. As other reviews have said they are a bit stiff out of the box but my son has worn them a lot since Christmas and reports they are fine. Unless I've overlooked it, these straps are not advertised as European sizes. It's possible that sizing makes the difference between a US fit and a European fit, but if you sell on Revain, you should better understand your customers and more accurately reflect the sizing difference. In my opinion the sizing should be adjusted to more accurately reflect that this belt runs small or else this company needs to add an inch or so to their belts. When purchasing these belts, it is advisable to purchase one size up if you are taller. Pants size 34 and belt size 36 or larger.
