Easy to assemble but the base is a bit small

This towel rail appears to be of fairly good quality. It was easy to assemble. My only criticism is that the base is too small, making it easy for the stand to tip over. I'm thinking of cutting out a slightly larger wooden base and attaching a tee to it.
