I always chose Samsung flagship phones for convenience, quality, and features. This time I made a huge mistake. Changed Note8 to S20U. The comparison will be of these two phones. I’ll note right away that in total I visited 3 different S20Us (+1 - a review from a friend, a total of 4), each of which I had at least a week on tests. Everyone has the same problems. The fingerprint scanner is just a pain. On Note8, the scanner was on the back cover and worked perfectly. On S20U, the percentage of correct operation is extremely low. The problem has been described many times on the forums. Registering multiple fingerprints of the same finger does not solve the problem. When using a protective glass, the scanner stops working (or glass for 3-5 I did not test the result). I had to return to the graphic key. The camera is a problem in all three modes (wide, main, ultrazoom). To the width of the least questions. Video wide - interesting and good. Video stabilization by the way is very even. In part of the photo - on the main camera and ultrazoom - there are constant errors with focusing. I did not expect such unstable quality from photos for a phone for 100k. Soap in the photo may not be on the entire frame, but in zones. Specially compared the quality of photos on Note8 and S20U. In general, on these phones it is quite comparable. On frames that are difficult to focus and detail, Note8 often takes a high-quality picture. At Note8, the quality of photos that go into marriage is several times lower. When shooting on the S20U, you can never guarantee that the photo came out without soap. The S20U's twilight value is negligible. Most of the shots are taken under very different lighting conditions. Why not add a penny sensor for pulse oximetry to the phone for 100k is also incomprehensible. On two of the S20Us I've visited, a rapidly fading pixel flicker was noticed slightly to the right of the front camera. Perhaps the problem was on all instances. Would I change Note8 to S20U now, knowing all the problems described? No! Such childish problems are unacceptable for a phone for 100k.
