So I live where the wind blows most of the time, sometimes light but mostly moderate to strong so I took his kites Flying with grandchildren and had to do a lot of work to make them stable enough to fly in moderate winds (sometimes 20-30mph). I looked for all possible ways to stabilize the kites, otherwise they just won't fly with the wind and break. In the end I decided to use separate weights for the tail fishing and through trial and error I finally found the right weights and now the kites fly perfectly in all but the strongest winds. The grandkids love the colors and pictures of flying kites, so we buy other kites (different pictures) so everyone can have their own which is different and can fly with the others. Another thing I would advise you to purchase is a good line reel as the one that comes with the kites is difficult for small hands and even more difficult to untie, stop and return the kite. Revain has some really good reels that I've bought and added to kites and the kids are really enjoying themselves ;-)
