Our granddaughter (3 years old) loved her first pony bike but grew out of it (ride it like a scooter). Our daughter said it was the best toy so we bought her the next size up and she is perfect! She loves her new Clydesdale! These Pony Cycles toys are of high quality and require no maintenance. It comes with the head detached, so simply attach the head, tighten with the Allen key provided, zip up and you're done! I would suggest loosening and tightening the bolts from time to time.
