It is very noisy which is very good in a hostile environment! Unless it stops when I put the pen back in and try to stop it and after a few minutes my brain is shaking at the volume :) That's a really good idea and it will shock everyone and give you those extra seconds give. that can save your life. The execution could probably use more work. The siren went on and didn't stop no matter what. As I brought it closer to my eyes to see how to open it, I thought I was going insane (it's really loud). You will need a screwdriver to get to the battery (to stop it). After a few minutes it stopped on its own. Not checked since then. I really like this idea but I don't know if it works properly when I need it.
