Very practical design

Great unit, AAA batteries are easy to replace, the pull pin DOES NOT COME OUT so you won’t lose the pin and you can activate the light without activating the alarm

  • Amazing product to alarm other's while walking or jogging in the event of harassment by predators.

Okay but not much light given off

This is a fairly good device. The alarm is loud. It is a light weight device. However the light is very tiny and doesn’t give much light off.

Just right size to hold and alarm is loud and that’s great!

This is a great product light weight and loud alarm, which is great to help let some be scared away and other people to hear and see if a person needs help!

sense of security good for me

My daughter in college has one on her bookbag and purse. The alarm is easy to use and makes enough noise to create attention. I feel better as a mom knowing she has it with her when away at college.

I especially like the ease of use. You don't have to search to shut it off, but just put it back together. That's my feedback.

It's LOUD - my new review

I wanted something loud enough to startle a person or coyote when I go walking in the evening. This will do it I believe. It say 130 decibles.and the average band at a night club is 80.this exceeds! Hope I never have to use it but I think it will do the trick!

Would recommend best in my review

Very loud, very lightweight. I used it to show some friends and it did its job. A few people came out of their houses to see what was happening.

TOO SENSITIVE but definitely works

Not incredibly loud how they describe it to be but it would get the job done. THE PROBLEM is that this has gone off in my bag many times (in a pocket by itself) the pin is WAY TOO SENSITIVE and goes off randomly on it's own so I only carry it if I have to walk in the dark & hold it in my coat pocket. You CANNOT HOOK THIS ON A BAG, IT WILL GO OFF!

Be careful if you put it on your keychain

It is good that the alarm pulls easily, but when pulling your keys out of your pocket or your purse, the alarm sounds accidentally!

This alarm will get your attention!

I had no idea what 130dB was supposed to sound like. It wasn't quite as loud as I thought it would be, but it certainly gets people's attention (which is why I bought it.) I ordered this for my 91 year old grandfather who has had some balance issues. I thought that if he falls, he can use it to get someone's attention to come help. I believe that it will work for my purpose. You can hear it from outside the house and vice-versa. If I were using it for my protection, it would certainly be loud…

I was assuming it would be LOUD and startling? I did not even get my ears ringing . For the price . You can get a louder one . Nobody in my hood would even look twice with this sound .

Nice to have! for my opinion

I like that I have a flashlight handy and I wanted the sound for when I walk my dog. We have bears and foxes and I'm sure the sound will scare them away. I also shop, so I feel safer knowing I can use the alarm if I need help. I had an issue with my first one, but I emailed the seller and they sent me a new one right away.
