It has use but it’s pretty hard to pull the alarm. Takes about 10 pounds of pressure to get it to function. The whole thing stays together even when you pull the pin. It just pulls out slightly. I wish this were easier to pull the pin out and I wish the pin came out of the alarm completely. I would also like to see the back have a port to allow this to be nailed into a tree so a string could be tied to the keychain clip for a trip wire and the alarm could be louder. Not impressed, not happy…

Was expecting it to be louder, however it's pretty good and it is well built in its design and very sturdy. I overall do recommend buying it!

This is useless. The light is about as visible as a lit match and a cat can scream louder than the siren. I turned it on inside and it is no louder than a TV. Absolutely useless. Amaon should know better than to sell this.

I am disappointed to write this review, as I was very excited to originally make this purchase. However, the alarm no longer sounds, only the lights will flash. I bought this item only a few months ago but the return period ended, and when I try to click the link to learn more about the warranty, revain redirects me to a page stating I must contact the manufacturer, but there is no contact information anywhere to be found.

There's nothing to dislike about this keychain safety siren! I tried it out and it's very loud. I got it to scare a free-roaming cat out of my cats' yard. One of my cats was badly injured while chasing her out of his territory, so this siren is perfect next time she/he comes in. I should have read more about this before ordering. What's the big button for? I thought it was to push to activate the alarm. Instead, I have to pull a pin out and then re-insert it to turn it off? Makes no sense. It looked so simple. The last thing I'd think of if being attacked or carjacked would be pulling a pin as if this were a hand grenade. I'd want to push a button.

This device makes me feel safer when I'm walking down the street. I love how it fits in my hand and how easy it is to use. The alarm is very loud and will get peoples attention. The light is very dull, It does the job but I wish it was brighter and had a wider range.
