These are a great value for the money! I've tried other hair donuts where you have to keep rolling it down before pinning your hair, which can be difficult and time consuming. Also the ones I've used in the past always worked better on second-day hair. I could never use them with freshly washed hair. Thankfully these ones can be used with clean hair! I'm not sure if I'm using this one correctly, but I just put my hair in a ponytail and pull it through the center of the donut. Once the donut is at the base of my ponytail, I fold my hair over the donut and tuck it under, then pin it with some hair pins. It looks great/effortless, lasts all day, and is really easy!For reference, I have fine shoulder length wavy hair and I'm able to use the small and medium donuts. I haven't tried using the large yet, but I think that would be better for someone with slightly longer hair. If you have thick, long hair I don't think these will work for you.
