Review on 🐶 PetSafe Wireless In-Ground Radio Fence System by Miriam Mendez

I bought this unit to replace an Invisible Fence system that had become too expensive to maintain. To add a dog to our system they wanted to charge me $199 to go out and put flags around the existing perimeter and give the dog a workout. They also wanted another $349 for a new collar. Sorry, but I don't pay that amount on top of an expensive battery change every four or five months. Essentially what they wanted for a service call, I replaced their entire system and collars. Although the batteries need to be replaced more frequently, they are a lot cheaper than charging the Invisible Fence. Both systems use proprietary batteries. The only thing the Invisible Fence has that this unit doesn't has is a backup power system in the event of a power outage. I can handle it. There were no problems installing PetSafe on the existing perimeter wire. So far my new rescue dog has taken the training well and PetSafe has worked great with my other two dogs.
