🐶 PetSafe Wireless In-Ground Radio Fence System Review

We have moved into a house with a big beautiful backyard and we can't afford to fence it in. Decided to try and install it ourselves - it took us several days to dig a trench and run the wire (MUCH easier on damp/wet ground). Finally installed and so far no issues or issues. I'm glad the collar has multiple levels because my dog is a 100lb lab dog and levels 1-3 didn't even phase him. I would recommend this product.

I bought this unit to replace an Invisible Fence system that had become too expensive to maintain. To add a dog to our system they wanted to charge me $199 to go out and put flags around the existing perimeter and give the dog a workout. They also wanted another $349 for a new collar. I installed this using a trimmer with a little help from petsafe youtube videos. I split it up over several days, but the total time commitment was probably around 3 hours. Very easy to install after cutting a gap in the ground with a trimmer. Just use a colored pencil to push it in and then stomp the grass again. If you have a truck or van to haul it, I would recommend renting a trencher. This will pull the wire into the ground and bury it for you. As for the product itself, we haven't had any
