Don't let the looks of this brush fool you. This bad boy is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I was probably, like you now, very skeptical about buying a brush that wasn't 100% badger, but you never know until you take the plunge. So I took a leap of faith and I can tell you that this was one of the best decisions I've made this year. The bristles are very soft and silky when I rub my face. They're also great for lathering my soap dish for tough washing machines. They have good bone and at the same time are extremely soft due to the very dense bristle density. If I've had one complaint, and I'm not sure if it's even down to that, it's that it produces such good lather that it can take a long time to rinse off. So actually that's a good problem. If you need a new brush and not just a pastime, stop thinking and buy this thing. you can thank me later
