Review on Tomlyn Felovite Taurine Amino Acid Gel for Cats & Kittens, 2.5oz - Nutritional Supplement by Christina Johnson

My cats have loved and benefitted from Felovite II for years but Tomlyn/Vetoquinol/Evsco (now same company) changed their packaging and more importantly they seem to have changed something in their formula then. I bought 4 tubes from one place and another here at Revain. They all share the same batch number and the packaging is now green and white instead of the original orange tube. 5 out of 6 of my cats actually turned their backs on me trying to give them this! Unprecedented behavior for this particular product! It has to be said that the 6th cat is the one that "eats everything" even when it's not doing her any good. I sent a letter to Tomlin on June 2nd (today June 26th) and have had no response from them: www. tomlyn.comre: Formula change or flavor? I have been using Tomlyn products for 6 cats for many years. I recently bought a new supply of Felovite II and found that 5 of my cats wouldn't take it despite repeated attempts. These five have always loved the old formula - pretending it's great fun, so what's changed? I noticed that the old tube said "Taste of Tuna" and the new one said "Taste of Delicious Fish". I would be very happy about your contribution. I have since bought 2 more tubes from another source (thought the first few were a bad batch or somehow spoiled in transit) but got the same result when trying to feed it to my cats. If there's something wrong with that, I've refrained from feeding any of the six that will eat it (she'll eat anything malt, molasses, or sweet-tasting). I am very disappointed in the level of customer service and the company's concern for product quality and safety. I would be grateful if any of you get a "new" package and how your cats react to it.
