I really like this fan and it's worth the investment. He replaced the old fan. I love Hunter ceiling fans. I have the gray side fan blades down and it is absolutely beautiful. My sister just fell in love with this fan. I bought a universal remote because my previous fan had a built in receiver. The airflow is perfect and I don't even know if it's on because it's so quiet. I preferred clear glass bowls mainly because my mother suffers from macular degeneration. In this regard, I use fluorescent lamps, and transparent shades can significantly increase the brightness of the light. When it comes time to replace the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and office I will definitely buy this one again. All in all it was a great investment.
