Very nice dress but the size is too small. My puppy is 9 months old and weighs 4.5 kg. Her chest is 13.5 inches, so I bought a medium size according to the size chart, but the dress's chest is 14 inches for a medium size, with no extra room. I want to dress my dog and also want him to feel comfortable. I bought another inelastic dress and they are all medium sized, they fit perfectly. For that specific dress I think for a short haired dog you can follow the chart. For a long haired dog I would choose one size larger.
